Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she dropped out of high school in order to relocate into Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. She was struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first part in the acting world in the film Rachel's Room's main character. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she acted as a principal cast member for the first two seasons.
