Audrey Justine Tautou, a French model and actress, came to global fame through her role as a timid eccentric waitress who won several awards for her role in the romantic comedy Amelie. Tautou was often compared to Audrey Hepburn, due to the combination of beauty, charismatic acting and her talent. Though she was born into a prestigious family, her dark-haired mother and father were both teachers and dentists. It was the last task she ever planned to pursue.
