Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, was born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both of whom were lawyers. When she was just five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled in an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma was aspired to be a professional actress since she was six. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school that offers part-time classes. In a school play and a Stagecoach Production, Emma was her role as lead actress at 10, and acted. In 1999 casting began for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the movie adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Emma was discovered through Emma's Oxford Theatre instructor. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been chosen for these characters. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It was the year's top earning film, smashing records during the opening day and the very first weekend. Critics gave high praise to the film and particularly those who were young. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British newspaper, was awed by her for her exceptional performance. Emma's performance received nominations and was awarded five awards for the movie.
