Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. He is the father of Manny James, along with Patty James of mixed race. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. In 2010, James completed his studies at Sanderson High School. Then James attended Wake Forest University in order to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences in Economics. James gained fame when he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. In the year 2020, he was selected to play the role of bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25, becoming the initial African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James is the perfect fit for this role as is tall, beautiful and humorous. Rachael Krukconnell was his lover at the close of the season. James teamed up with popular dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th.
