Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born Amal A. Alamuddin. She is a Lebanese British lawyer and human rights activist. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished professional career in the field of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally. The most notable clients she has worked with are many nations, like Armenia which is seeking to force an agreement with the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in pop media. In the past, she was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and was well-known. The range of her activities range from the tackling of human rights and justice problems to representing multinational corporations in their negotiation and court cases concerning government regulations.
